Doha, the capital of Qatar, is a coastal city located on the eastern coast of the Qatar Peninsula, where the shore of the Arabian Gulf is. It features many famous and distinctive landmarks, which are important tourist attractions.

  • Museum of Islamic Art: was inaugurated by Sheikh Hamid Al Thani in November 2008, it was designed by the Chinese-American architect “I. M. The area of Aspire Zone is approximately 880,000 square meters, it obtained many awards such as (the International Award for Logistics in 2012), (the International Quality Award in 2012 for Aspire Logistics), and (The Torch Hotel was awarded the Best International Hotel in Qatar by the International Hotel Awards).
  • Katara: The Katara Cultural Village is located in the northeast of Doha, it was designed in a cultural architectural style that combines culture and entertainment. The cultural Village aims to promote culture in Qatar through exhibitions, festivals, concerts and seminars, and support creative abilities. The entrance to the Village is distinguished by its traditional pigeon towers, and its winding streets and sandstone buildings lead to various cultural monuments such as museums and theatres. Naming the village Katara dates back to the year 150 AD when it was mentioned in the maps of Claudius Ptolemy, who used this name to indicate the location of Qatar.
