Black and white desert Safari
- One of the most important tourist attractions that you see during your trip is Al-Marsous Mountain, which is a dormant volcano for a long time, it was called the Black Desert because the mountains were covered over time with black stones that came out of the volcano. With the help of the guides and drivers on the trip, the journey becomes easier, as you pass through the village of Al-Haiz and enjoy Bedouin meals there, next to which is a museum that includes many extinct animals. Then you go to the Crystal Mountain, which is one of the most important treasures, as it contains unique crystals of the purest types of crystal in the world, which made it one of the world’s most expensive deserts, it consists of cresid ore, which is the reason for turning the area into a natural reserve, over time, its size has become much smaller, because most tourists take it as a souvenir. Then you go to an area called valley of Alqabat by four-wheel drive cars, and go to the sand dunes area and enjoy skiing on the sand, then go to the white desert by passing on a green spring, which is located in the middle of the desert and water, the water therein is suitable for drinking, and you can see the acacia tree, which is a type of tree that is found among the rocks and does not need much water.
- Then you go to the White Desert, which is an area outside the Bahariya Oasis on the borders of the Farafra Oasis in Wadi Degla. It is characterized by white color on the ground and rocks in various forms, including mushrooms, chickens and rabbits, it is the opposite of all deserts and the only one that is white, it was a sea or an ocean, and the remaining stones are composed of limestone. There is Ain El Serw, which is a magical spring, and it was named by this name because water does not come out unless someone passes by it, and Jarrah Cave, which is one of the world’s rarest caves, the chalcedony was more than 60 million years old, and it has the largest groundwater reserves, therefore, the state encourages reclamation and agriculture therein, as did Al-Komy Group, which established the Nirvana Resort and reclaimed 3,500 acres, converting them into organic farms, spirulina algae, livestock farms, and hotel accommodation that depends on groundwater and solar energy.
